How it works
From first call to equipment at home.
Getting medical equipment from Central Home Care takes one phone call. We confirm your prescription, verify your insurance, and deliver across New York City, Long Island, and the tristate area.
Five steps. One phone call.
Our Lynbrook team runs the whole process — most of it happens while you're on the phone with us.
Tell us what you or your patient needs. We're open Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM.
Oxygen equipment and other medical items require a valid prescription. We confirm what your doctor ordered.
We check your coverage with Medicare, Medicaid, or your managed care plan and handle the paperwork. Prefer to rent outright? Most equipment is available month-to-month.
We deliver throughout NYC, Long Island, and the tristate area — and set the equipment up for you.
Rentals are month-to-month with no long commitment. When you no longer need the equipment, we schedule a pickup.
What you can get
Rent it, or bill it to insurance.
Two ways to get equipment — many items can go either way. Call (516) 623-9500 and we'll recommend the best option for your situation.

Questions, answered.
For availability or a situation specific to you, call our Lynbrook team directly.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. A valid prescription is required for oxygen equipment and other medical items. If you have one, call (516) 623-9500 and we'll take it from there.
How does insurance billing work?
We verify your benefits with Medicare, Medicaid, or your managed care plan before anything is delivered, handle the paperwork, and bill your plan directly. See our accepted insurance plans.
Can I just rent instead of using insurance?
Yes. Most equipment — oxygen concentrators, electric hospital beds, patient lifts, wheelchairs, CPAP machines — rents month-to-month with no long commitment.
What areas do you deliver to?
New York City, Long Island, and the tristate area — including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau County, and Suffolk County.
What happens when my rental ends?
Call us and we'll schedule a pickup. We collect the equipment — you don't haul anything back.
Do you set the equipment up?
Yes. We deliver and set up your equipment for you.
One call starts it all.
