Our cleaning process

Inspected. Cleaned. Sanitized.

Rental equipment goes into homes where people are recovering — often medically fragile. So nothing goes out our door until it has been inspected, cleaned and sanitized. Here is the standard every rental is held to.

Before every delivery

What happens before equipment reaches your home.

1. Inspected

Every returned rental is inspected before it goes back into service — condition and function checked, top to bottom.

2. Cleaned & sanitized

Every rental is cleaned and sanitized before delivery. No exceptions, no shortcuts — it is the step our reputation rides on.

3. Checked at setup

At your home, we set the equipment up and confirm it is working before we leave — so you see the condition it arrives in, with us standing there.

Backed by accreditation, not just promises.

Central Home Care is a Medicare-enrolled DME supplier and a TCT Exemplary Provider® — an accreditation that audits how a supplier actually operates, including how its equipment is handled. The inspection, cleaning and sanitizing standard on this page is how we work every day, on every rental: hospital beds, wheelchairs, patient lifts and oxygen equipment alike. Questions about a specific rental? Call (516) 623-9500.

Questions, answered.

For availability or a situation specific to you, call our Lynbrook team directly.

Is the rental equipment new or used?

It is rental equipment — and every unit is inspected, cleaned and sanitized before it is delivered to you. That is the standard every Central Home Care rental goes out under, every time.

How do you clean the equipment?

Every rental goes through our inspection, cleaning and sanitizing process before delivery — the standard our TCT Exemplary Provider® accreditation holds us to as a Medicare-enrolled DME supplier.

Is the equipment safe for someone who is medically fragile?

That is exactly who the standard is built for. Rental equipment goes into homes where people are recovering, so nothing is delivered until it has been inspected, cleaned and sanitized. If you have a specific concern, call us and we will talk it through.

Do you rent lift chairs, scooters or knee walkers?

No — we don’t carry seat lift chairs, scooters or knee walkers. Walkers and rollators are available for purchase rather than rental. What we rent: hospital beds, oxygen equipment, wheelchairs, patient lifts, power chairs, overbed tables and trapeze bars.

What if something about the equipment isn’t right when it arrives?

Call us at (516) 623-9500. If a rental does not arrive in the condition you expected, we want to hear about it so we can address it.

Renting soon? It arrives clean.
